The Department of Environment, who runs Adela Martinez-Cache, installed two new bicycle racks at San Patricio and the Glorieta, facing the diocese.
Both car parks are a more attractive model created for areas of town and venues in the city.
This action is part of the Bicycle Master Plan of Murcia which includes the installation of a total of 7,150 parking spaces for bicycles.
From the Municipal Office of the Bicycle of Murcia strongly recommends the use of secure bicycle locks.
Remember that the safest locks are called hairpin-shaped or "U".
It is recommended not to use steel cable locks or "spiral" as well as chain link, since they are the most insecure.
A good lock - provided that tie the bike frame (and possibly the wheels) to bicycle parking - provides greater security for the bike is not stolen.
