Murcia IU-Greens today expressed its support for the march in defense of public transport organized by neighborhood associations in the South Coast for Sunday, which will start at 11 am from the square of the Church of Los Garres and conclude in Torreagüera.
The candidate of that organization for mayor of Murcia, Sergio Ramos, who will participate in the march, has demanded the return of suppressed bus services and the restoration of the line linking the villages of the South Coast with the hospital Virgen de La Arrixaca, El Palmar.
He also stressed the need for a single ticket with a single price for the city and the districts, rejecting the possibility under the Sustainable Mobility Plan to require travelers districts have to dismount to enter the city and change transport means paying two bills.
