The Carnival of Cabeza de Torres, declared Regional Tourist Interest, presents a program that will ensure the enjoyment of all attendees from Saturday February 7 to March 14.
The main novelty of this edition will be the race of colors 'Holi Run', to be held on February 8th at 11am.
The organization will employ thousands of kilos of starch powder colors from India with which participants will be sprayed.
Another main attraction will be the Gala Carnival Proclamation and Coronation of the Musa to be held on Friday, February 13 at 21 pm, and will feature as a preacher with Jordi Sánchez, national prestige actor who plays Antonio Recio in the TV series 'The looming'.
For younger, that same Friday at 16 hours, the typical children's parade will be held on the streets of Cabeza de Torres in which the smaller flood the streets with their sympathy.
In addition, on Sunday 15, at 12 hours, hosting a children's show costume with gifts for all participating children.
On Saturday 14, at 23.30, the gala Drag Queen 2015 will be held, in which a jury headed by television Karmele Marching give your rating.
The evening will end with a concert by Andy and Lucas, a few pairs of fashion in the Spanish flamenco pop, from 2.30 am.
As for the parades of the Grand Parade of Troupes Fairground Carnival will take place on Friday 20th at 20.30.
On Sunday 15, Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Saturday 21, from 16.30, will take place the big parades of Carnival.
It is in this last parade, Saturday 21, come into play when the Dominican singer Henry Mendez, from 00.30 hours, will offer the 2015 Carnival finale concert.
The last event will be Saturday, March 14, at 17.30 and 21 hours, with Chirigotas Contest which will involve Quartet Beniaján, the Jopys of Cartagena, Chirigota 3.0, the joke of Cabeza de Torres and Chochonis Cartagena unique chirigota composed of women in the region.
This year, due to the globalization of the party, both the cartel and programming will be written in five languages: Spanish, English, French, German and Chinese.
The Carnival Poster Cabeza de Torres is the work of Andrea Peńalver Saura, the 6th grade student of Salesian College of Cabeza de Torres who has won the poster competition.
All this programming is complemented II Path Cover and Cocktail Carnavalero thanks to which, until Sunday, February 8th, you can enjoy a wide selection of tapas plus drink for only two euros in twelve establishments Hospitality participating in this initiative.
This new edition features a novelty, Cocktail Carnavalero.
Five local, after 16 hours, offer different cocktails for the price of three euros.
The Path of Tapa with the participation of Bar-Restaurante Las Cumbres, Bar Brides, Reed & Café Brewery, Pizzeria Sancho Panza, Great Chef, Bar La Plaza, Olives Roda, Salted and Smoked López Vidal, Restaurant The Plates, Patrik Brewery Bar-Restaurante La Cata and Baratiko.
Establishments participating in the Cocktail Carnavalero are: Café Don Jesus, Café D'Luxe, Kabu, Boston Café and Café-Bar Principality.
