San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia was the first university in the region to receive the seal as an entity attached to the Strategy for Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment 2013/2016, which promotes the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and which is intended to give support and response to youth employment situation in Spain.
Strategy Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment 2013/2016 aims to improve youth employability, enhance quality and stability of employment, promote equal opportunities in access to the labor market and promote entrepreneurship.
To make this possible, the Strategy contains 100 measures to promote the employability of young people, either as employees or through entrepreneurship.
With this initiative, the UCAM, through the ITM Institute of Murcia Technology, aims to contribute to one of the major current challenges, reducing youth unemployment.
The ITM is the body charged with strengthening entrepreneurship, employability and industry-university relationships with the firm purpose of contributing to the improvement of the business fabric of the region, and face the new employment situation in the current socio-economic framework.
