The Department of Environment, who runs Adela Martinez-Cache, has designed a new and varied program of activities for the months of February to May with which promote training, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the municipality.
The proposal for the months of February to May is composed of four seminars and workshops nature eight environmental itineraries and guided tours, and five activities of the municipal environmental volunteer program.
Among the novelties of this new programming highlights activities as original as the "practical workshop organic and natural cuisine" or the "Driving Techniques pet for the natural environment", to be held in the Nature Majal Blanco.
The Contraparada be another space where activities will take place within this new programming.
In this environment a workshop on organic farming in spring and different environmental volunteer activities that also bring to the world of organic orchards and recovery of native species will take place.
For these activities has enjoyed the cooperation of ANSE (Association of Naturalists Southeast), the Global Association Cork and "The gardens that gives life".
Through this program also intends to visit other natural areas of the municipality through novel routes such as "Flowering almond tree in La Murta".
Seminars and workshops Nature in Majal Blanco: 4 intense workshops are scheduled (3 in the Nature Majal Blanco and 1 in the Centro La Contraparada) to address new issues of skilled labor and direct contact with a natural environment best-preserved village.
Workshops are held on Saturdays from 10-17 h.
The registration fee is € 5 (free for children under 17 years, over 65 and unemployed persons).

Environmental Volunteer We pineapple!
Currently volunteering and has a group of 104 people registered through the Office of Volunteerism.
For this period, five activities are scheduled for voluntary action, Saturdays develop 10 to 14 hours.

Organic garden (I): recovery of traditional varieties.

Organic garden (II): planting flowers and herbs as natural defenses.

Alongside all this programming, we continue serving visitors Majal Blanco Environmental Information Point located in the Plaza of the mulberry trees on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9.30 to 14.30 hours, and the Visitor Center The Majal Blanco Sundays from 9:30 to 14 hours.
Both will be open during the weekends until May 31.
