The verification of the identity of human cell lines is the subject of the agreement signed between the University of Murcia and the company Bioidentity.
Cesar Flores, Technical Support Service to the University Research, said during the signing ceremony that the agreement seeks to address the issue of accreditation of the cell lines because, he said, it is estimated that one-fifth of papers published have them confused.
For its part, the Vice Chancellor for Research, Juan Antonio Garcia, said the University has to support its researchers so they can work in the best possible conditions.
The agreement was signed in the building of convalescence between the rector of the University, José Orihuela, and Bioidentity manager, Maria Josefa Jimenez.
