The City Council environmental program closes 2014 with the participation of more than 500 people in its 32 activities (15/01/2015)

The program of Information and Environmental Awareness, organized each year by the Department of Environment, who runs Adela Martinez-Cache, closed the year 2014 with a total participation of 520 people in its 32 activities.

Throughout 2014 have organized a total of 7 workshops, 16 itineraries natural areas in the region and 9 environmental volunteer activities.

In addition to the organized activities, the Department of Environment has launched the information point located in the Plaza of the mulberry trees, open for all users attention Majal Blanco (walkers and nature lovers) Saturday, Sundays and holidays from 9.30 to 14.30 hours.

Throughout 2014 was open 110 days and information volunteered a total of 2,805 people.

Also, the Visitor Center, located in the classroom nature of Majal Blanco, is available to visitors every Sunday from 9:30 to 14 hours.

The center was open a total of 36 days and visited 822, almost double that in 2013, 454 people who visited him.
