On the eve of the match, El Pozo Murcia FS paid homage to former player of Murcia and international conjunction with the Spanish, Alvaro Aparicio, for his long career and his valuable contribution to the history of the Club.

Club president, José Antonio Bolarín presented him with a plaque to mark the 25th Anniversary of El Pozo Murcia FS.

The Spaniard Alvaro Aparicio wing (29/09/77), was "eight wonderful seasons" in El Pozo Murcia FS wearing the dorsal '4'.

ÁLVARO won four Leagues, 2 Cups of Spain, 3 Super Cup with El Pozo Murcia among other titles and was named Best winger-in campaigns 06/07 and 07/08 by LNFS.
