The Museum Ramon Gaya is actively involved in programming holidays organized from the city of Murcia and for this reason has scheduled a concert of Christmas and holiday music career with two artists whose music focuses on root: Manuel Luna and Juanjo Robles.
Manuel Luna is a researcher, musician and performer of the music of popular and peasant roots, with special attention to ethno-musical heritage of the southeast peninsula.
With its expressive musicians blend of baroque timbre of stringed instruments and popular roots as ocatavilla, lute, mandolin, more guitar, tenor and guitarro, getting the expressive character of our traditional peasant music.
Moon is a born researcher Hispanic cultural heritage, facet that has never neglected and it takes you to control a number of resources that start from the flower and variety of the music of Spanish roots, whose cultivation and study has reported both concerts and seminars and radio programs.
The artist wanted to share with our museum a repertoire of traditional music, Christmas and festive root, accompanied by juanjose Robles, musician proven experience with which to display pieces recorded on their previous albums, as well as a selection of romances and aguilanderos this time.
Concerts of this artist and his group have toured places and festivals of many Spanish towns, as well as theatrical and cultural areas of Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, France, Italy and Norway ...
