The candidate for the Presidency of the CARM, Rafael González Tovar, has claimed today further promotion of the Museum of Bethlehem Bacons Bridge within and outside the region as a tourist attraction of cultural and handmade nature of the Region of Murcia.
This morning Rafael González Tovar has been at the opening of Bethlehem Monumental Bacons Bridge.
There he lamented the poor activity of the museum, because since it opened a year ago, the belenística activity that has developed has been limited to only 10 days.
Therefore requests the City of Murcia to develop a program of activities at the Museum of Bethlehem throughout the year, with special emphasis on education.
The Region has more than 140,000 students and Primary Education, and other 94,000 in high school.
"You will understand that it has not taken any steps to include this museum in cultural visits scheduled by the schools in the region," he said.
Rafael González proposed also that participation schemes Belenistas Association established in the management of the Museum of Bethlehem.
This association has an extensive representation in Bacons Bridge and are experts in the field who is professionally engaged, in addition to international recognition;
"So it will not understand that they are not allowed to have any involvement in the management of the museum," he said.
