Councilman IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, José Ingacio Tornel, has reported today that cutting water supply to two families even though the Board of Emuasa, which the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, is president, agreed last March that the necessary minimum consumption guarantee.
Tornel has indicated that these two properties are located in the district of La Paz and working families residing in them.
He criticized the fact that the reinstatement of the service, which does not involve any type of work, cost 108 euros, an amount that represents "another twist" to the public, by a municipal company that gets five million euros year net profit.
"These cuts are an action against citizens," he added, recalling that have occurred in a neighborhood "by the mayor five years ago paced and kissed neighbors, promising a new neighborhood".
