The Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise, through the Office of European Programs, participates with other entities in Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Romania in the INVESTinGREEN project, which is part of the Leonardo Programme, Lifelong Learning whose principal objective is promoting green economy through the creation of companies in this sector using assessment tools, training and seeking new funding to improve access to green entrepreneurs to them (focused on the ability to create new jobs through the green economy).
For this it is necessary to promote the creation of new businesses and at the same time, improving access to finance entrepreneurs in this sector.
As a preliminary to the reception (uptake) of entrepreneurial initiatives have worked in the generation of new tools that enable new entrepreneurs benefit from a more favorable economic and social environment.
Thus, studies have been conducted on the characteristics of the sector, profiles of entrepreneurs and existing financial instruments, reaching new financing agreements with banks.
The project addresses the creation of new companies and acquiring job skills regarding the green economy, strengthen the work of municipal employment services in the particular area of ​​skills assessment, profiling processes, career guidance , training services and advice, etc.
The project objectives are focused on:
1. Support training and training for the acquisition and use of knowledge, skills, abilities and qualifications;
to foster personal and professional development, employability and participation in the European labor market.
2. To support improvements in quality and innovation in vocational training and institutional training systems and practices.
Currently the project is under acquisition of entrepreneurial initiatives so that it appeals to all business ideas related to the green economy that are emerging in the municipality of Murcia.
