The spokesman for IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today regretted the "lack of initiative" of the regional and municipal administrations for heritage protection, enhancement and restoration of the archaeological site of San Esteban.
"As the world marks five years since the cessation of dismantling the site of St. Stephen, citizenship of Murcia still waiting for a solution beyond the call of a competition for then park the issue," he argued.
Herguedas has urged solutions because, in his view, "not the site should continue to deteriorate for longer or citizenship must remain deprived of the enjoyment of this public space", located in the city center.
Training has expressly supported the initiative of different, civic, social organizations of technicians and specialists that have signed the "Ten Commandments of San Esteban", in which solutions are proposed for this area and call for a debate open to find feasible solutions and commitment.
"Only through participation and the meeting of all groups involved can be discussed, zoom in and consensus positions that allow combining the interests of equity and citizenship," concluded Herguedas.
