The land and environment committee of the Board of Murcia gives green light to the proposed burial of the AVE presented by ADIF (05/12/2014)

The commission's work and environment territorial scope of Murcia Social Council, meeting this morning, unanimously adopted, after learning the technical explanations made by the municipal services on the proposals submitted by ADIF, the following agreements:

First: To express the need to Murcia has to have a transport with high-speed train (AVE).

Second, I regard the cost of executing the works of that railway infrastructure and its background, the draft report favorably underground phased presented by ADIF, which comprises four alternative conditional on:

1. That a deadline for the full excavation of the routes are established.

2. To be guaranteed at all times respect the environment, resulting in compliance with the law on environmental matters.

3. Determine that this committee is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the project for the purposes of compliance with this agreement.

The alternative adopted is one of the four proposals in the study of alternatives for permeabilization of Murcia railway network in the vicinity of Barriomar.

The commission of territorial and environmental context of Murcia Social Council held this morning was chaired by Ramón Madrid Nicholas, the Association of Economists of Murcia and has had the following members:
