The merchants of the town of Murcia have made during 2014 a pioneer and unique initiative: 'lunches trade', a training sponsored by the Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise.
The aim of these workshops was to educate traders on issues that contribute to grow their businesses.
The training sessions, which were developed in two blocks (two editions) at the Center for Municipal Initiatives (CIM-M), were held on days three hours at noon, to reconcile business hours to training.
The theme has been varied and of special interest to the sector, hence they have taught courses on the following topics:
-Marketing 2.0
-How To sell via Facebook
-Twitter And loyalty tool.
-Decoration And marketing, an essential alliance.
-Sale Online
Celebration- fairs and public events
-Measuring On social networks
Creation of blogs
-Coaching In the sales process.
In total, there have been over 200 assists an initiative that also has had collaborations with the designer Elena Miranda, the guerrilla marketing specialist Javier Gomez and journalist Isabel Franco.
The training meetings have also received contributions from the Hotel School in the Municipality of Murcia.
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, accompanied by Councilman Employment, Trade and Enterprise, José María Tortosa, has delivered diplimas participants of the second edition, launched last September.
House has said that this training is part of the plan of action for promoting trade in the town of Murcia, undertaken by the Department for promoting and boosting local commerce.
"The result has been satisfactory, as many have learned to manage merchant tools that will help them improve and boost sales in their businesses," said the Mayor.
