The University of Murcia, through its Service to Diversity and Volunteerism (ADyV) collaborate in the campaigns of the organization nonprofit Food Bank Segura, which is captured and takes surplus food to make it reach the needy.

The university volunteers provide assistance in the four areas in which work is organized Food Bank: administration, logistics, communications and external relations.

Such cooperation is a result of the agreement signed between the two institutions in the office of Vice Chancellor for Student, Miguel Ángel Pérez, in the University Community Centre.
