Estrella Levante opens a bio sustainable facility, based on a pioneering project in Spain conducted in collaboration with the CEBAS.
It is the first plant based in the cluster, a future area of research, innovation and opportunity, destined to become an environmental reference
The cluster of Environment and Renewable Energy Murcia begins a new stage, which involves the launch of the first floor of the center, which, in this case, will produce clean energy from byproducts of beer.

The new plant bio sustainable Estrella Levante manages both organic residues and food by-products from the manufacture of beer.
Its implementation has resulted from collaboration with the Centre for Soil Science and Applied Biology Segura (Cebas-Csic), whose research has led to biogas, a clean energy, a waste that until now were underutilized.
With its implementation may be generating more than 2 million cubic meters of biogas and treat 22,000 tonnes per year.
The investment amounts to 1.5 million euros.
