International Day of Persons with Disabilities |
Students of Education, Occupational Therapy and Capacitas program have held various activities
'We are not different, we all feel the same, they want you as you are, do not need anything more.'
This is one of the verses of Rap who have interpreted this morning grade students in Primary Education UCAM with students of Capacitas program -an activity undertaken by the Chair 'Montoro German for the social inclusion of people with disabilities intelectual'- and which is made by a student of the title, to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
For the director of the Chair and Vice Dean of Degrees in Education and Primary UCAM, Painted María del Mar, people with disabilities have to cope with architectural barriers, "low awareness in some sectors of the business when of their employment; misunderstanding, or ignorance obscures that are completely normal people in their affections, their feelings, their hopes, and their desire to do things. "
Workshops
During the day also held a talk by students Capacitas, which have been exposed to the university community what it means to have a disability;
and various workshops as they have taught from grade in Occupational Therapy and which have presented techniques and resources to help make everyday people with disabilities activities;
or adapted sports.
