The Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism organized a conference to raise awareness of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the potential of this organism to study, do internships and scholarships in Germany.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 4th, at 12:30 in the IES Alfonso X. The Director of DAAD, Marc Reznicek, will explain the program conducted in Germany to students in bilingual German Studies, International Baccalaureate centers Secondary School of Arts, Training, etc.
Reznicek also hold a meeting with the Head of European Programmes Murcia City Council to study an ongoing collaboration between the two organizations for the benefit of the youth of the town.
This action is part of the activities that the City held to promote the mobility of young students and Murcia.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the organization promoting international exchange of students and the world's greatest scientists.
As an association of universities and students representing communities worldwide to 231 German universities and institutions of higher education.
The DAAD has over 500 representatives in nearly 100 countries.
The DAAD Information Centre in Madrid was opened in 2004 located at the Goethe-Institut in Barcelona and since 2011 has another seat in the Goethe Institute in Madrid.

Youth council of Murcia has done similar actions with the British Council for students from schools, colleges and universities are aware of the training offered in the UK and their way of access.
