The singer Estrella Morente part in a congress that will be full of parallel activities: photographic exhibition, exhibitions, dance and guitar, percussion workshops or wine pairing and flamenco songs
The Campus Jeronimos Catholic University of Murcia this week becomes the world capital of flamenco thanks to the celebration of the V International Congress of University Research Flamenco, bringing together these days (2-4 December) to some of the leading experts.
Among the participants of this conference include Estrella Morente, singer and director of the International Foundation Flamencology UCAM Cante de las Minas;
José Tomás Jiménez, Bordon Minero 54 Festival of La Union, give a recital of flamenco guitar;
and Jeromo Segura, 53 Mining Lamp Festival of La Union.
In addition to lectures and panel discussions, the conference will also be space for workshops like flamenco percussion, by Miguel Angel Orengo and Antonio Fernández 'Wito', and the Cantes Pairing Wine and Flamingos.
There will also be a photographic exhibition in the cloister of the Jeronimos Monastery and performances by the Dance Company UCAM and the School of Flamenco Art Flamencology UCAM International Foundation Cante de las Minas.
On Tuesday the conference starts with the opening at 9:45 pm in the temple Jeronimos Monastery.
