The House approved unanimously a motion to enforce the principle of equality between men and women in the recruitment process (27/11/2014)

The Municipal House has approved a joint motion of all political groups, alternative to that presented by the Municipal Socialist Party and United Left-Greens on effective equality between women and men in public procurement.

Thus, the four political groups have approved that "the government team and specially the Service Headquarters the departments responsible for procurement and Equality, ensure compliance with the principle of equality between men and women in hiring in the manner established by the Decree of the Councillor for Equality Policy and Development Cooperation dated June 5, 2014 ".

Furthermore, "all procurement processes will be reviewed in place since that date, if possible, adjust the specifications of technical requirements set out in the said decree"
