The city of Murcia will host the First Fun Run 'Race against gender violence', organized by the Government Office in collaboration with the Municipality of Murcia, San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) and the Federation of Athletics Region of Murcia.
This activity is part of the reason for the scheduled November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Domestic Violence against Women, and is performed in order to demonstrate against violence on women and solidarity with women who are assaulted to let them know they are not alone.
The race will be held on Sunday November 30, from 11am.
The start and finish will be at the Lieutenant Flomesta Avenue and the main streets of Murcia will travel.
The distance is 5 km and can run all persons older than 14 years.
Entries are free and are held in www.famu.es.
Through the website, registration will be formalized until the 28th of November at 14 hours.
Registration will also be accepted until 30 minutes before departure.
