The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, has launched a permanent seminar, which will be invited to leading figures in the educational field, for reflection and discussion of the main aspects of the Spanish university.
The first meeting will be held next Wednesday, the 26th, with a talk by Juan Juliá, a professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and former vice president of the CRUE, and a round table with the participation of all former presidents of the institution Murcia teacher: José Antonio Lozano, Juan Roca, Juan Monreal, José Ballesta and Jose Antonio Cobacho.
The initiative is part of the commitment made in the election manifesto of the governing Orihuela to energize the debate about issues affecting higher education for the proposed improvements.
