"Sorrows and Joys of Love 12 scenes from everyday life," is the title of the show which will take place on Thursday, November 6, at 19 am in the auditorium of the University of Murcia.
Speakers: Robert Martin (recitation), Pepe Piñana (guitar) and Jose Martinez (vocals).
It is a tribute to popular poetry, flamenco song and three manifestations very present in the Spanish culture "as part of the collective memory and emotional education of the Spanish."
The central theme of the show is love in its various forms and circumstances.
Poets like Manuel Machado, Rafael de Leon and Manuel Benitez Carrasco, songs as well known as "The good pagá" or "alms of love" and flamenco styles as solea, siguiriya, Taranto and Malaga, will be present at the show that, in imitation of the ancient troubadours, joins the recitation, singing and music.
