The University of Murcia breaks his record of simultaneous wifi connections (23/10/2014)

The University of Murcia recorded on 7 October its record wifi connections simultaneously, with a peak at 11:10 hours 6,624 users online at the same time.

The wifi network of the University of Murcia, which enables connection to high-speed Internet 10Gbps, is mainly used by students, who use it to access content from the Virtual Classroom, to receive notification on mobile by UmuApp application or software to enter the computer rooms.

As an example, on record, of 11,107 users wifi network was 9,555 students.

In 2013, the network usage was 10,448,229 distinct connections, 28.133 different users (23,773 students).
