The Vodafone Foundation delivered to students with disabilities at the University of Murcia different generation computers equipped with software tailored to their needs.
With these machines, which were delivered on loan during the fair stand of the University, which was held this week in the College Welcome, aims to reduce the effects of their disability in everyday academic performance, ensuring standardization in the digital access to curricular content.
This initiative is part of the Campus Project Accessible, who signed last year's educational institution and the Vodafone Foundation to promote universal accessibility and inclusion in the university and promote equal opportunities for disabled university.
Result of this collaboration, Vodafone has participated in the development of the "Usability Study of the tablets in virtual environments for college students with disabilities" in the University of Murcia is a finalist for the Awards for Educational Innovation Fair SIMO Technology for Teaching.
