A total of 13 companies and more than 34 activities between performances, films, exhibitions and puppet workshop part programming Titeremurcia International Festival, to be held from 2 to 9 November in 16 different scenic areas.
Attended by more than 6,500 people are expected.
The 13th edition of the Festival's motto # vuelalaimaginación and planned activities in the districts of Murcia and Algezares, Beniaján, Cabeza de Torres, La Alberca and El Palmar, and the municipalities of San Pedro del Pinatar and Jumilla.
Councillor of Culture, Rafael Gómez, presented this event by the General Coordinator Titeremurcia, Marina Beltran.
Titeremurcia wants to convene the public to enjoy the best puppetry and objects of national and international scene.
The annual event brings the best representations Murcia being created today.
On this occasion of the 13 participating companies, many of them backed by prestigious awards, the shows are 12 openings in the region.
The family program include, among others, the show mans, the Catalan company Farres Brothers, a show that will convert the Teatro Circo Murcia in a balloon;
The circus of the smaller theater of shadows created by Merce Framis for children in the Scenic Center Pupa Clown;
or object theater show Animals, of the Madrid company Altarpiece, which will be performed in San Pedro del Pinatar and Beniaján.
The adult audience will enjoy this year's Bang innovative show!
Teatro Circo in Murcia, in which the French company meets Volpinex humor and originality object theater and film to offer a cinema 'western' and TCM Microescena cycle dedicated to puppetry and objects with Castaway Entertainment, Hunger and eating 59 Similarly Murcia puppeteer based in Catalonia Dori Cantero offer a version for adult audiences of her show in Párraga Goodbye Welcome Center.
Titeremurcia also has activities for school students.
Five shows are proposed, of which two of them, The shoe tree and traveling show The little circus, are in English.
Reserving these school functions began in early September and is still open.
In addition, festival audiences can enjoy two exhibitions' Lives
Water ', an exhibition of the artist Ferroluar animated sculptures that make up a unique and imaginative underwater world;
e 'Illustrates Titeremurcia', a selection of proposals submitted by the collective of Illustrators of Murcia the poster competition that called the festival in July in order to choose the poster for the 13th edition of the festival.
This year's poster was created by José David Morales García.
The exhibition can be visited in Hall 1 of the Central Artillery Barracks.
The two documentaries Regional Film animation Waltz With Bashir and The lost image is projected;
while in the Puertas de Castilla Centre classic animated film Alice Svankmajer Czech filmmaker will screen.
Titeremurcia offer a children's theater workshop taught by shadow puppeteer and storyteller Carmen Navarro.
Tickets for the shows at the Teatro Circo, Bernal Teatro, Teatro Vico, Casa de Cultura de San Pedro del Pinatar, Vico Puppaclown Theatre and Performing Center may be purchased at their outlets or through their websites.
All other tickets can be booked through the website of the festival www.titeremurcia.com or Titeremurcia Booth, located in the Plaza de Santo Domingo from October 29 (during Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00 hours).
The price of the shows varies between 3 € and 12 €.
This festival is organized by the non-profit UNIMA Murcia and has the sponsorship of the City of Murcia and the support of institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, Education and Sports, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the City of San Pedro del Pinatar and Cajamurcia Foundation;
and Merchants Association Silverware-Tatters, The Truth and Latbus.
It also receives the support of more than eight 'Business Friendly' and a large number of individuals who collaborate with the festival through the Association of Friends of Titeremurcia.
