Environmental itineraries organized by the Department of Environment, directed Adela Martinez-Cache, have started the season with a resounding success, as they have covered all the available places for the route next Sunday, October 19th for Barranco Blanco .

Environmental guided tour "52 MU PR Barranco Blanco" is a journey of seven miles long and medium difficulty, which will allow participants to learn about the great diversity of environments present in the Municipal Forest Park Majal Blanco.
Attendees will learn the typical pine forests of Mediterranean forests, as the track enters areas boardwalk, looks out the impressive Barranco Blanco, up small hills from which the landscape of the mountains and regional vegas observed and runs through land ancient cultures where natural vegetation coexists with the typical plant species associated with these lands.
Along the way you can also observe a paleocacuce: occupied by a stream or river millions of years ago and explore ancient olive groves that provide refuge for wildlife.

Given the success of this first day, the Environment Councillor encourages citizens to register and in itineraries scheduled for next coming weeks.
