The municipality of Murcia involved I am in the Forum cities that drive the Electric mobility, to be held in Madrid, at the headquarters of the IDEA (Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy).
Murcia will take part in this important meeting as a member of RECI, Spanish Red Smart Cities, which also leads the Energy Working Group.
In addition to the IDEA and RECI also co-organizes the event the Business Association for the Development and Promote Electric Vehicle, AEDIVE, which covers among its members many electric vehicle manufacturers and their related infrastructure.
The meeting aims to become an opportunity for a sharing of the most important aspects that shape the development of electric mobility in our cities and establish a discussion of the crucial aspects in the implementation of electric vehicles through current experiences of various municipalities.
This forum, which will be accessed by invitation, comes from the interest of the municipalities involved and committed to the promotion of electric vehicles, to resume the meetings promoted by IDEA in previous years, under the pilot project Movele.
Murcia will take part in this meeting represented by the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change Murcia, responsible for the development and promotion of electric vehicles in the municipality.
Thus, participation is limited to the municipal authorities of the cities RECI, which are related to the area of ​​sustainable mobility and involved in the development of a sustainable management model to improve the quality of life of citizens, focusing on this case in electric mobility as an integral part of a sustainable, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly urban mobility.
In total, part of the project 11 partners from 8 European countries and in the city of Murcia participates through the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change Murcia and European Programmes Service.
The Ele.C.Tra (Electric City Transport) project was selected by the European Union for funding through the European Intelligent Energy Programme, and has a two and a half years (July 2013- December 2015).
In this second official meeting of the Project, a common set regarding the progress of work of the different partners involved, new standards will be established and meet new specific actions for each city and will be held to exchange positions on how to enhance and stimulate the sector of electric vehicles in our cities through the contribution of Ele.C.Tra Project.
BCNecologia public entity which coordinates the Ele.C.Tra Project in Barcelona, ​​dedicated on 29 September to celebrate a day of presentation and dissemination of the project called "Project Ele.C.Tra: electric mobility more sustainable mobility."
This is a good opportunity to bring together many of the companies and public and private entities in the development and growth of the electric motorcycle Barcelona.
The aim of this day is to promote the development of new alternative transport systems in urban environments and present the role of Electro Mobility in Barcelona in the context of sustainable mobility policies being developed in the city.
