Next Thursday will sign the accession of Murcia Adapt Mayors initiative, which include capital committed to this challenge.

Convened by the European Commissioner for Climate Action, Connie Hedegaard, 80 mayors will go to Brussels on Thursday, November 16, to attend the ceremony which will start at 10 am and will also be involved in which Margareta Wahlström, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Christiane Figueres, Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC, climate change commission UN.

The event will also offer a unique opportunity for participants to work together on common challenges and opportunities in this field, share best practices and exchange local experiences.

At the Closing Ceremony will address how the EU contributes to climate resilient urban development.
