Federations and Associations of Parents of pupils in the municipality will organize activities in schools through public call for aid and subsidies granted by the Department of Education, directed by María Dolores Sánchez.
The City Council has approved the basis of a public call for aid and subsidies to promote organized by Federations and Associations of Mothers and Parents' activities for the year 2014-2015.
In the academic year 2013/2014 grants have been awarded to 82 Associations of Parents of Students Federations and 4.
The Department of Education maintains these subsidies from 1999-2000.
The objectives of these grants is to encourage the participation of all sectors of the education community, promote the formation of these associations to assist in the management and organization of schools and support the various activities organized.
Projects for cultural, sports, leisure, reading promotion, purchase of books for schools and libraries related to information technology and communication activities are subsidized.
The amount of aid is 29,200 euros.
They may present associations and federations with scope in the town of Murcia.
The deadline for applications is 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the notice in the BORM day.
