Councillor IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, has reported today that a company intends to use the municipal center childcare Zarandona for private profit that would not be allowed by the concession granted by the council .
According Herguedas, this center is managed by the company Ares-Infer in administrative concession required to establish these facilities municipally owned three services of reconciling work and family life: a nursery, a playroom for evenings and schools for non-school holiday periods.
All these services have their own rates, approved by the council, and are supervised by the municipal services of Social Welfare and nursery schools.
However, IU-Greens has proven, through advertising by the company and the city council that the logo appears, Ares-Infer intends to develop a private academy own tasks by offering private English lessons and support and tutoring.
The mayor noted that afford this use, the company would benefit from a public facility to establish a private business academy that contravene the specifications governing the granting, in which a service catalog closed down.
"The irregularity is such that the failure to allocate the property subject to the grant for purposes other than those specified in the tender documents even appears as cause for termination of the contract," he argued.
Therefore, it will apply to the appropriate municipal service to check these facts and requires the company to keep to the strict provisions in the concession agreement compliance.
