Councillor for Social Welfare, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, visited yesterday afternoon Cobatillas Senior Center, with whose members were trying on developments in the courses and activities that will address the association.

There are currently 76 Senior Centers: 10 in town and 66 districts, which have more than 30,000 members.

Promoting Older people in areas of culture, education, health, leisure, social collaboration and volunteerism, and social services, are developed through an offer of activities and training courses.

The Department also participates in and promotes awareness campaigns on issues of majors.
