In union elections yesterday in COPELE, SL, located in El Palmar, the Workers' Union of the Murcia Region -USO- got a great result to be getting 80% of the delegates who were elected to form its Works Council.
The Copele, SL, whose main activity is the manufacture of materials related to the Livestock and Poultry Facilities, with a census of 56 workers, had only two nominations: UGT and USO, to choose the 5 members of the Works Council for next 4 years, as no other union was able to complete the list of candidates.
And the result of votes with a turnout of 79% was as follows:
OPERATION 4 delegates with 37 votes.
UGT one officer with 8 votes.
With this result, obtained more recently, the USO continues to consolidate in the most strategic sectors of the region, and has a large support of workers in enterprises presents candidacy to be a reference of class unionism, without political strings or positions on boards of directors.
