The team rector of the University of Murcia aims to launch the campus Health Sciences, next to the hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca in the 2015-2016 year, as announced today during the Council meeting Government of this educational institution held in the building of convalescence.
The Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure and Sustainability, José María Abellán, has stated that on this campus have already invested about twenty million euros and has considered it is best culminate it, despite the current economic situation is not the best .
This will determine who will have to undertake the missing works, among which is the construction of a classroom building and a surface parking.
Both Abellán as rector, José Orihuela, have argued that all of this will be undertaken with the greatest possible consensus among all parties concerned, for which, in the next days meeting with the Schools of Medicine and Nursing will remain.
The Governing Council, on the other hand, has also approved the proposal of the Vice President for Communication and Culture, acceding to the Covenant on Transparency and Good Governance in the Region of Murcia, as well as various issues of Teaching, Management, and Student Research.
