The football field in the hamlet of Corvera will have artificial turf.
The City Council has awarded the work, with an investment of more than 150,000 euros, and a lead time of six weeks.
This infrastructure is the second soccer field with artificial turf in the Campo de Murcia, next to Sucina, and complete the sports network consisting of five facilities covered pavilions and outdoor areas.
The works involve the placement of 6,700 square meters of artificial turf for sports specific use on a paved with asphalt and drainage base.
On the football field Corvera play sports more than 150 children as part of the municipal sports schools, and train and play equipment Second Regional Division.
With these works, the Department of District of Murcia Country, directed by Manuel Durán, fulfills the commitment to the residents of Corvera improve the football field.
In addition, the Department of Sports City of Murcia conducted last year and conservation works to upgrade the football field, improving accessibility, bleachers were installed and provided with a system of irrigation water cannons.
