The retired officer of the University of Murcia Joaquín Sánchez Moreno, who was head of the Recruitment Section, has been awarded the José Loustau University Spirit Award and Human Values, convened by the Social Council of the educational institution.
The prize will be delivered tomorrow, the 25th, in the opening ceremony of the course of public universities, which will be held from 11:30 am in the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Murcia, Campus Espinardo.
Moreno Sánchez's candidacy for this award was presented by a group of university officials.
The proposal stressed that Joaquín Sánchez "always acted with respect, humility, rigor, dedication, sacrifice and hard work," also noting "the spirit of integration."
This officer entered the University of Murcia in September 1974, from the General State Administration, and retired in May 1991.
