San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia has welcomed this morning the ceremony to inaugurate the academic year 2014-15 in the School of Sport at a ceremony attended by the maximum Spanish Olympic medalist of all time, the canoeist David Cal. With over a thousand students and about sixty teachers, this ability is the most important in sports throughout Spain.
Proof of this are the 39 doctors (22 of them accredited ANECA) that are part of the faculty and the six official master studies which are among his graduate studies, making the Faculty of Sport of the UCAM a national benchmark.
It also highlights the work being done in research with the implementation of the Research Center for High Performance Sports in Murcia and the upcoming opening of another in La Manga Club.
In addition, we must highlight the publication of the magazine CCD (Culture, Science and Sport) which is among the most important publications for editorial and scientific quality according to the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology.
Before the talk of David Cal, students met some of the highlights of the 2014-15 course, such as the Olympics or of future congresses flamencology or to be held on the campus of Cartagena, where the degree will also be offered CAFD on Route Fortresses.
All teachers who participated in the event highlighted the importance of early specialization offered through UCAM official indications, paving the way for students to their future careers: Athletic Training, Sport Management and Recreation, Physical Education and Sport , Physical and Sports and Sports Sailing Regattas and Rehabilitation Organization.
The Faculty of Sport, in addition CAFD Degree, teaches several studies prostgrado and the Higher Institute of Vocational Training, where you can study the TAFAD (Superior Animation and Physical Activities Sports Technical) through which you can access degree studies.
