The Councillor for Social Welfare, yesterday gave Maruja Pelegrín Murcia welcomed the more than 130 beneficiaries of NGO projects throughout Spain participating in the Seminar Participation 'Empowering for transformation: citizen initiatives'.
The ceremony was also attended by the President of the European Network for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Spanish State, and President Carlos Susías in the Region of Murcia, Jesús Salmerón.
During the day they will develop different debates: Health and Sanitation;
Education, Training and Employment and Housing and Population, while on Saturday, the last day of the meeting, there will be a final discussion of the seminar and a presentation delas conclusions.
This seminar seeks to analyze the impact of public policies on poverty and social exclusion of millions of people, compounded by the economic and financial crisis
