The council of the Socialist Group, Susana Hernandez, announced this morning that the PSOE will carry a motion in Parliament September demanding immediate solutions for college Virgen de Guadalupe, where the mass of students in barracks and wiring problems are preventing normal development of the start of classes in this course.
During a press conference, in which Hernandez has been accompanied by the PSOE spokesman in the Municipality of Guadalupe, Angel Manuel Romero, and several mothers of students, the council has criticized the carelessness with which the Ministry and the Municipality have addressed this issue since it is a problem that has dragged on for seven years but until now have more solution than false promises and the reality is that the solution is "more barracks each course."
The Socialist councilor has emphasized the need for urgent repair the wiring from the center to prevent the light jump every time the air conditioner starts.
Also, Hernández demand the City Council to consider whether you can relocate the hundreds of students who are in barracks in municipal buildings in the village as a temporary solution until the new module is built.
The PSOE mayor stressed that "this situation is the result of a policy of continuous cuts and neglect of public education by the governments of the People's Party in all areas: central government, autonomous community and, of course, City of Murcia ".
Hernandez also drawn to the Councillor for Education who has not done anything to the population increase of Guadalupe.
"It seems to have not heard that one school can not serve 700 students when it was built for 200."
Finally the PSOE mayor criticizes the attitude of the headman of Guadalupe this morning who has threatened and intimidated parents with their legitimate protests demanding solutions for the school's students.
