Fifteen students from the University of Murcia this course participate in shared housing program of Fundown Foundation, which has as main objective to increase the degree of autonomy and independence in people with intellectual disabilities.
The University of Murcia, through its Service to Diversity and Volunteering, working since 2008 in this program in which students assume the role of mediators and live for one or more academic courses to people with Down syndrome.
Yesterday officially opened the program with a visit to the facilities of the Foundation in the village of Cabeza de Torres Fundown those responsible and the Vice Chancellor for Students, Quality and Equality University, Miguel Angel Perez, head of the Legal Service.
