The professor of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia and director of the Humanities Classroom of this institution, Vicente Cervera, has been named president of the Spanish Association of Hispanic Literary Studies.
The appointment took place at the XI Congress of the Association, held last week in Granada, where also a professor at the University of Murcia Adsuar Maria Dolores was elected vice president and treasurer.
The Spanish Association of Hispanic Literary Studies was created in 1992 in response to growing development in our country of research in the field of American literature.
