The Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia will host tomorrow, Wednesday, the 10th, and until September 12, the First International Conference on Translation and Interpreting, with the participation of leading specialists from different countries.

Plenary lectures will be given by Minako O'Hagan, University of Dublin (Ireland), Xosé Castro, translator;

Frank Austermuehl, University of Auckland (New Zealand), and Emilio Ortega, professor at the University of Málaga.

The last day of the Congress includes a meeting with translators Translation national awards, including the professor of the University of Murcia Angel-Luis is Booming.

This meeting will be opened on Friday, the 12th, at 9:30 pm, during a ceremony chair, on behalf of the University of Murcia, the Vice Chancellor of Communication and Culture, José Antonio Gómez.
