The Socialist councilor Susana Hernández, claiming, once again, the municipal government of the PP the same effort into creating new bike lanes in Murcia in implementing a public bike rental system.
"For this initiative makes sense first is to complete a network of bike lanes that allow potential users navigate the city safely," says the mayor of the PSOE.
Susana Hernandez recalls "a fool who did the Municipal Government of PP to fail a second time in his attempt to introduce the system of public bike hire in the street."
"Something I saw coming because while there is no bike lanes to any company you may appeal a system of rental bikes are not allowed on any safe place," says the socialist mayor.
The PSOE Councillor reiterates that "the PP Chamber has failed in nearly twenty years to set up a real network of bike lanes, bike traffic turning in a risky activity."
However, Hernandez laments that "most actions undertaken by the PP during this time to promote the use of bicycles have been pure marketing, wasting the best conditions that Murcia has to move in this mode of transport."
