The municipality has a new entertainment and sports which is located on Abenarabi Avenue, corner of Juan Carlos I. This is a green that has been conditioned by the Sports Council in order to provide a leisure and sport.
Specifically, it has been conditioned to run a lane with a length of 300 meters and floor albero.
It has also enabled a space for bending and stretching that has parallel bars, sit-up bench, squat area and apparatus for performing push-ups, among other things.
Replaced by the pond there was an area with two tennis minibasket for children, a double basketball court have been conditioned 3x3 and two basketball courts and two multi-purpose courts.
Furthermore, in the area there is also a playground.
The whole area has signage, maps, and is painted in different colors.
This sports area is very popular with people who go to sport around town.
The renovations are part of the 'Play Green', the result of an agreement signed by the city of Murcia with the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the Federation of County and Provinces (FEMP) in 2007 with the aim of applying criteria environmental and sustainability in sport locally.
'Green Play' commitment to integrate sport in urban areas to improve the quality of life of citizens and provide greener, leisure and sports areas.
