A group of volunteers UCAM consisting of students, faculty and staff of the University, is developing this August, as they have done for years, volunteer in the poorest areas of Peru.
Through the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II University, issuing UCAM is these days making and development cooperation activities in various fields, in the town of Pachacutec, located on the outskirts of Lima.
Significantly, the nursing and rehabilitation work carried out by physiotherapists and nurses in the medical center and in schools, as well as visits to the slums of the town of Pachacutec.
Likewise, they are also developing computer workshops, social skills, to learn public speaking and photography.
In addition, we are working in schools with children aged six to twelve years in craft workshops, theater, math, grammar, and various sports activities.
Also is working with young people in juvenile detention centers with sports, leisure and recreation, support, evangelism and in preparation for the training of teachers.
Volunteers will continue to develop various activities in the coming days in a bid to Catholic University for the cooperation and development of the most disadvantaged and evangelization in all areas of the world.
