The proposal has been approved by the Governing Board of the City of Murcia with the approval of the Quality Council of Urban Transport
Murcia City Council has approved the regulation of work shifts on weekdays taxi drivers, adapting to the application, to ensure worker furlough and at any time is a minimum of taxis available to users.
The shifts are:
-Tomorrow, 5.00 to 15.00, would work 60% of the taxis.
-Afternoon, 1.00 to 15.00 hours, work 40% of the taxis.
-Night, from 1.00 to 5.00 hours, all taxis would work.
These measures were taken after the proposal of the taxi drivers who decided to vote to adopt measures to regulate the working day, supported by 70% of taxi drivers.
9 of the 10 representatives of the Professional Taxi Bureau pushed for regulation of the day of days, amid falling demand.
Moreover, the decision is ratified by the Quality Council of Urban Transport, which met last week.

All these measures have been approved by the Governing Board of the City of Murcia, on July 30, with the approval of the Quality Council of Urban Transport, which is formed by Councilman Traffic and Transportation, Javier Iniesta;
Murcia Golf Councilman District, Manuel Duran, representatives Thader Consumer Federation of Neighbourhood Associations, Tram Murcia, Murcia Transport, Radio Taxi, Taxi Sector Board and municipal technicians.
Iniesta has highlighted the presence of consumer associations, neighbors, transport operating companies and taxi drivers in the Quality Council of Urban Transport, in order that all agreements made are as consensual as possible.
