The full City Council approved a motion to support the Palestinian people.

The proposal is an alternative presented by the Municipal People to a motion UI, and has been approved with abstentions and UPyD PSOE and IU voting against.

The text of the motion passed with the following account:

-The council is solidarity with all the victims.

-The increasing number of civilian deaths and military demands a cessation of hostilities immediately recognizes this as the UN and the European Union.

-Israel and Palestine should return to the agreement of November 2012 ceasefire and a negotiated solution to the conflict that has lasted since 1948.

-The government team calls for a ceasefire and cessation of hostilities.

The need for a calm environment that allows to resume negotiations towards a peaceful solution is reaffirmed.

-Get a fruitful peaceful medication.

-Immediate and sustained unconditional opening of crossings for humanitarian aid flowed, goods and persons to and from Gaza, consistent with UN resolution 2009. (This last point is a proposal UPyD ).
