Modern popular religion in Spain, with the devotion of the rosary paradigm and its fraternities, has been the subject of study of doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia by Jose Carlos Romero Mensaque.
The study, which has been rated as outstanding cum laude, is a literature review and a significant contribution to the study Exhibit of Rosarian phenomenon and its fraternities in our country during the Modern Age.
The thesis points out that the genesis of the Rosary Catholic prereform match and placed first in orbit and the Benedictine monastery in the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, to settle permanently within the Enforcement of the Order of Preachers foundation of the Confraternity of the Rosary.
This scientific work was directed by Professor of the University of Murcia and Pedro Riquelme tried by a tribunal chaired Professor of Art History at this educational institution Jesus Rivas.
