Companies that have created new jobs in the Region of Murcia during the first half of 2014 exceed those in which they have fallen, according to the findings establish 11 Family Business Barometer, which was presented today at the University of Murcia.
The study, prepared by the Chair of Family Business and Murcia Association of Family Enterprise (Amefmur) shows positive results in all variables analyzed and confirmed the turnaround in recent barometers targeted.
The director of the Chair, Professor, University of Murcia Angel Luis Merono has exposed barometer figures, who participated in 97 family businesses that have positively assessed the regional economic situation and expectations for the next six months: 40% of businesses think that will continue to improve the overall scenario and by 37% your own.
Exports, the number of employees and the turnover experienced progress, with domestic demand begins to replace the foreign sector, claiming 34% of the surveyed companies have improved their sales figures in the last six months and 42% hopes to do in the next.
The confidence index of family businesses in the region up for the fourth consecutive quarter, reaching for the first time in positive balance.
Compared to the rest of the country, Murcia gets the fourth best result of the autonomous communities.
Regarding the difficulties faced by family businesses in their daily lives, 78% said the weak demand as the main limiting element of their activity (although there are now three semesters in decreasing importance), followed by increased competitive pressure (53%).
